Acknowledgement and Thanks to all my Patients

"Hi Everyone! I just wanted to take a minute to say "Hello" without my mask. I know it's been awhile since we've been able to see each other face to face. And for my new patients, I know we've never even met without our masks on. And while I'm so grateful that we've been able to continue with our acupuncture sessions and be just as safe as possible, I know that it can be challenging. I'm so grateful for everyone who has been continuing with sessions and I know this isn't going to last forever. So, until then, I will see you Masks ON!"

With Eating Disorders, Looks Can Be Deceiving

Grateful for this article in the NY Times, helping to share the facts surrounding eating disorders, why they are often under-diagnosed in young people, and that there is no "look" to a person who is struggling with an eating disorder. As they write: "A missed diagnosis is likely when a young person’s relatives or doctors have preconceived notions about how someone with an eating disorder looks or behaves."
